Sharon
Rugg, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief
Therapist and Registered Play Therapist with over 20 years of experience
in various social work fields, including mental health, college
teaching, hospice and bereavement care. She is available to work
with children, adolescents, or adults both individually or in
groups. She especially enjoys working with individuals and
families dealing with life-threatening illnesses as well as issues of
loss and bereavement. Sharon consults with and provides seminars
for schools and community agencies on helping children and adults cope
with grief. She has been happily married since 1970 to Ed Rugg,
Ph.D. They have a son, Brian, and a daughter, Julie. Sharon
enjoys nature, reading, arts and crafts, tennis, entertaining and
spending time with her family.
